Today I will water my garden
And water my soul
Today I shall eat homemade bread
And feed my heart
Today I will skim the cream from the milk
And skim away burdens I don't need to carry
Today I will bake with a girl in a princess dress
And make connections more necessary than flour
Today I will breathe
And when tomorrow comes, it will find me more whole
Instead of less.
